Please follow the instructions below to keep your latex product in good condition.
1. Oils (petroleum based) will deteriorate the latex.
NEVER use oil based products including some colognes, lotions, cleaners or polishes. Check the ingredients or contents before using.
2. Use ONLY water based lubricants and polishes.
3. Before using any latex product, wash or sponge gently with a mild, non oil based soap.
4. Dry flat or hang dry, but do not hang over a metal rod.
DO NOT LET LATEX CONTACT METAL!
Metals will oxidize the latex and cause permanent discoloration.
5. For the shiny, polished look, polish with one of our latex finishing products. You will notice one side of a latex product is naturally glossy. That is the side to polish and buff with a soft cloth. Repeated applications may be necessary to maintain the shine as the polish evaporates or wears off.
6. Do not expose latex to prolonged sunlight or heat.
7. After use, wash and dry thoroughly and pat dry with a clean soft cloth. Dust with talcum powder and store in a dry cool place.
8. Do not store latex in high humidity, high heat or freezing conditions.
9. Do not use or rub against sharp objects The latex will tear.
10. Before putting latex garments on, make sure your body is clean, oil free and lightly dusted with talcum powder. A light dusting on the garment inside will help as well.
Wash & polish your latex garment AFTER you have it on.
