Making A Bodysuit
We can now offer you a complete "Do-it-yourself" custom fit latex suit, for less than half the cost of having one made by traditional methods. Take a Lycra spandex body suit, and use it as a foundation for the Liquid Latex! This gives the Liquid Latex a level of permanence that rewards your creativity and "Do-it-yourself" satisfaction.  You cannot get a latex suit with a better fit than to make it yourself using this procedure!!!!

Prepare a place for applying Latex, and 1 or more friends to help out. This process will take 1-2 hours, so get a large sheet of plastic to walk on. Get your foam brushes and/or rollers  ready, and it helps greatly if you have a blow dryer handy as this will speed the drying process significantly. Get some type of support for your hands- you'll have to keep them from touching your sides during the process, and after an hour... it gives new meaning to the word HEAVY.

Shave the complete body within 24-48 hours of creating the suit, and apply 2 coats of any non petroleum based body moisturizing lotion liberally, but not enough to saturate the spandex,  just prior to applying  the Liquid Latex. Rub it in thoroughly and wipe away any leftover or excess lotion.

Step into Lycra suit, and smooth out any wrinkles. If using a hood, use a shower cap underneath to protect your hair. You can also purchase a pair of latex briefs to wear under the suit as another option. Some customers have reported using plastic wrap to encase their bodies just before stepping into the Lycra suit as an alternative to shaving. We haven't tested this method ourselves, but....

Saturate the entire Lycra suit using one quart of Liquid Latex. The suit will absorb this entire quart, so apply thickly and evenly. Use your brush to work the Liquid Latex completely into the garment's fibers. This will be for the foundation of your hybrid latex garment. The Liquid Latex will completely permeate through the Lycra to your skin. Use care not to saturate the zippers, but the Liquid Latex will scrape off them when dried. A THIN application of  Vasoline on the zippers also works well to protect them. Once applied, use your blow dryer set on med/high to speed the drying process.

Once this base coat is dry, open your second quart of Liquid Latex. Any color or combination of colors can be used over the base, the final colors and design are entirely up to you! This second quart will be enough to do several additional layers over your entire suit- use your blow dryer in between coats. Since the Liquid Latex shrinks 4% during the process, you will literally have a custom fit suit. Some customers have described the sensation as the ultimate body condom!

You can mix the Magic Star Dust powder in the Liquid Latex or rub it on your dried Liquid Latex suit at any time in the process. You can swirl or drip colors together, make patterns- the combinations are endless and as unique as you are!

When you think you are finished and the suit is dry to the touch, apply a silicon or Teflon-based rubber protectant to the entire latex suit. You can also use the latex polishes sold by us.  Do Not use Armour-All or any similar product which contains petroleum distillates!!!!

When your suit is finished, simply undo the zippers and begin peeling it off your body with care. Roll it off the shoulders, allowing the arms and legs to turn inside out as it is removed. I wash my suit by simply taking it in the shower after wearing! Hang it on a hanger until dry. Apply another fine coat of Latex Polish to the outside of the suit, apply baby powder to the inside of the suit, and you are all ready for next time! (Hint: you might want to cut a small hole in the toe of each foot to allow water to drain out...)

If at any time your suit should get a spot or tear from heavy play, patching is as simple as brushing on a little leftover Liquid Latex!
What do you need?

We've debated putting together a complete kit, but some items can be obtained just as easily and probably cheaper from your local hardware store, and besides, we'd have to add S/H charges anyway.

You want to get:

Large Plastic Sheeting for those annoying drips. Painters' plastic drop clothes work well for this.
Several 2" foam brushes, 1 set foam rollers
1 bottle of Teflon or Silicon-based spray rubber protectant
At least one hand-held hair blow dryer.
2 quarts of Fantasy Liquid Latex.

Decide on your suit's color pattern. Select your colors and sizes of Liquid Latex and Sparkle Powder to order from us.
